Donna and Toby welcome you to the Victoria Inn West Marden, a traditional pub based in a small community. The pub is located in the middle of the South Downs National Park, but easily accessible from Petersfield, Chichester and Portsmouth.
The Victoria Inn is at least a couple of hundred years old and the building is listed. Previously, the building was used as part pub part general store.
We have a lot of previous experience in hospitality. Toby is the chef and Donna's son Cameron helps us run the pub so it really is a family business! What's more we have now been running the Victoria Inn for sometime! Thank you to everyone who has made it enjoyable and fun!
The pub has a cosy interior with wood-burning stove for the winter and outside there is an inviting terrace to enjoy the summer sunshine. We also have free WiFi.
The Victoria Inn is open and food is served Tuesday to Sunday. The menu is focused around home-cooked staple pub food, such as steak and ale pie and Sunday roasts, prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and we also cater for the gluten free diet. We now also do takeaway. Our beer is equally important so we always try to have 3 real ales on tap.
Given the location of the Victoria Inn, it is a great starting point for a walk or cycle ride and we are a dog-friendly pub so have treats and water bowls at the ready! Also close-by are the Goodwood Estate, Stansted Park and Uppark House so there is plenty to explore.
Whether you are local to the area or just visiting, we look forward to welcoming you at the Victoria Inn.
