The Vic Inn

The Victoria Inn West Marden offers everything you would expect from the quintessential traditional pub and more. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub food on our menu and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

good local ales, a range of hearty food, and a proper log fireThe Guardian

We look forward to welcoming you to our very special, one of a kind place and we are sure you will agree, it is very special!

Part of the Community

The Vic Inn as it is fondly known locally, is steeped in history and the building is listed. In days gone by, the front of the building was used as the village shop, while the pub was at the back. Today the pub remains very much at the centre of village life with pub teams, food & drink festivals, live music, quizzes, raffles, themed nights and charity events.

Home Cooked

Our Head Chef and Landlord Toby Morgan has always been passionate about preparing fantastic food. So at the Victoria Inn wherever possible we make everything in our own kitchens. Toby loves to create hearty home cooked pub food like our now famous pies & Adsdean roasts but also to surprise with new dishes made with seasonal ingredients and available from our daily changing specials board.

Seasonal Food

Wherever possible Toby will source local ingredients and farm fresh produce to create an ever evolving menu inspired by the seasons. We are also conscious of our carbon footprint so we endeavour to keep our food waste low, hence the ever evolving menu! You will always find old favourites but look out for something different on our daily changing specials board too!

For You

We will always try to accommodate whatever dietary requirements you have and we offer smaller portions for smaller appetites. We love creating menus with you for groups & parties. Plus we can offer barbeques, giant paellas and lamb spits for your outdoor events. Tell us what you love to eat & we'll see what we can do!

Please note that the hours shown here may differ with events and holidays and that opening and closing times are at the discretion of the landlord & in accordance with our license.
